Corrugated Clamshell Box
This box is made of acid-free and lignin-free corrugated board (E-Flute/B-Flute) which can provide full protection to the item inside for storage and access.
When do we use this type of enclosure?
Custom made for housing any kind of books or other collections, usually for items greater than 1” thick.

Other possibilities?
Sometimes, this type of box will also be fabricated for Chinese thread bound books with fewer fascicles.
