Four-flap Cardstock Enclosure
The type we make is constructed from two pieces of acid-free and lignin-free archival cardstock (10/20 point thick) with a slot closure. The four-flap enclosure lays out flat on a table when opened and assumes the shape of a cross.
When do we use this type of enclosure?
Normally used for paperback books within 1” thick.
* Fold the bottom flap first when closing the enclosure.
See the short video below for handling instruction.
Other possibilities?
This type of enclosure can also be affixed to a pamphlet binder to provide extra support.
